Stressful days like the last couple of them made her really intolerant and she really didn't feel like trying to put up with anyone today. How could she actually go to school without punching someone? She couldn't trust anyone anymore. Everyone was a bitch that liked ruining each others lives, so why did she ever even try to interact with anyone anymore? She was slowly losing any hope she had for a decent year all because of the people she had to deal with daily. If they believed she was a bitch, why wouldn't she show them a bitch? She didn't have anyone important to her left anyway, so what did she have to lose? It seemed like everyone hated, or at least disliked her. She would either have to become a very loud, independent bitch or fade away and learn to deal on her own quietly, sinking into her own world. She was scared of the second option because she didn't like herself in the first place. If she drifted off into her own little world, who knew what she'd do to herself? Whatever she just had to get through today without physically hurting someone out of frustration and anger.
Today she'd been pissed off when she'd picked out her clothes so she ended up looking pissed off. She had her black converse, dark gray skinny jeans, black zip-up hoodie, and a metal band tee underneath. Her hair was teased a bit more violently today and her makeup was darker. She was just asking for it. She she was pissed, but she knew she'd get shit for looking like this today. She hadn't eaten breakfast either. She was skinny, too much so, but she still wasn't small enough in her opinion. She'd never be skinny enough. With the tension building up inside of her, she had even less motivation to eat than normal, so she didn't think she'd be eating lunch today either. All morning she had avoided her family at all costs and the same happened on the bus. She had cranked her music up all the way and sat by herself, looking out the window the whole time. Having the school in sight didn't make her any happier either. She pulled one of the earphones out of her ear, letting it dangle, and keeping the volume of maximum. She secretly enjoyed the stares she got from people passing that heard all the heavy guitar riffs, drum solos and unclean vocals. When she made it close to the front door, though, they came by. Jordyn tried to keep walking by, keeping her eyesight on something other than them, hoping not to provoke them. Of course, while passing them, the one girl book checked Jordyn. Her hazel eyes blazed with anger, but Jordyn waited before the girls passed her before turning to them. Fuck you, bitch! All she did was have someone book check her, but Jordyn was already on the edge of going insane. She was seething right now and anything could push her too far. She bent down to pick them back up, then heard the morning bell but ignored it. It wasn't a good day to go to class. She wouldn't be able to handle it. She watched as everyone rushed to their classes, slipping easily into her own world. She suddenly became woozy and had to sit on the steps. She did so, putting her stuff next to her and her head in her hands. What could she do to make this better? She couldn't just go home...could she? Then she heard footsteps nearby and looked up to see some guy she hadn't ever interacted with before. She wasn't really in the mood for a meet-and-greet. What do you want?

Morning, Matt's alarm clock hadn't went off or it just might have and he hit the snooze button. Now he'd be late for school, but he really didn't care he always skipped first period, history. Matt forced himself out of bed and right to his bathroom. He hopped into the shower feeling the water run down his tan skin, now feeling the goosebumps raise. Matt washed his body, followed with his hair and when he was done he got out of the shower wrapping a towel around his waist. He could hear down stairs, the front door opening his mother must have been taking his little sister Abbie to school. Matt scowled at the thought that now he'd have to make his own breakfast. He walked down the stairs grabbing a bowl from the cabinet then he made his cereal. Matt loved his cocoa puffs in the morning, the sugar gave him a bit of a high. Matt ate quickly going back upstairs to his room in search for his outfit of the day.
Matt pulled out his gray skinny jeans and a black t-shirt that had the Fox skating symbol on it. He got dressed putting his silver studded belt on, followed by his high topped black Jordan sneakers. Matt looked himself over in the mirror spraying himself with Axe spray, then spiked his hair. Now he was ready to start his day. He hadn't really been feeling impulsive nor was he angry but that could change on the scene. Matt walked down the stairs and grabbed his messenger bag putting it over his shoulder. He walked outside unclocking his purple BMX bike and preceded to ride to school. Once there he walked to the bike rack that was beside the parking lot. He locked up his bike looking over the school. Matt sighed and walked to the front stairs but words caught his ear and he shot a glare at the girl. "Excuse me? What do I want? I think I want to walk up these stairs on which I get my education." Matt said a bit sarcastic. He didn't know the girl, but she wasn't about to bring her rain cloud over his sun shinny day. Matt chewed the inside of his cheek now feeling unwelcomed so he got to the top stair and sat down pulling out his cell phone checking the time, he had a decent amount of time for first period to end. Matt wasn't generally a mean kid to people he didn't know unless given reason. He didn't listen to rumors and he was actually interested in making friends this year. Abbie was working with him on controlling his anger issues, and he wouldn't fail her so early in the school year. Matt cleared his throat and slid his phone back into his pocket. "Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed don't you think? We can talk about it civilly if you'd like." He said looking into the distance at the soccer field. He had been captain this year, and he adored playing and being part of the athletic programs at Degrassi. He waited for the girl to respond, but if she kept up with her attitude he'd just leave her be. Matt wasn't someone to go looking for drama he had better things to do.

Jordyn rolled her eyes immediately at that comment. Of course, because everyone just loves school, right? Everyone just wants to get an education, right? Hah! That's total bullshit. Jordyn herself would know. School was just completely pointless. It's not like she wanted a career where she'd actually have to think hard, now would she? No. Thinking hard like that was way too much work if it didn't have anything to do with the things she loved. Now, if it was all about music, things would be different. She'd love school and she'd want to be there. The problem is, it wasn't. There was just music class, and that had nothing to do with her kind of music. Whatever. She could sit here all day, right? Or maybe just go back home? Whatever. She'd just do whatever she felt like. It's not like grades mattered to her, anyway. Sure, she got pretty decent ones, but it's not like she was actually trying or anything. The graded work was just easy, is all.
Jordyn watched him, surprised to see him sit anywhere remotely close to her. She turned she that her petite legs could lay across the stair and rested her elbow on the next stair up. Was he not completely repulsed by her bitchiness or scared by her still loudly thrumming music that was even louder now that there weren't many other noises out here? That was really, really shocking to her. No one ever stayed around her. It's not like she was a total loser or anything, it's just that her "style" wasn't a very popular one around here. But, really. Was he not scared about missing out on first period? Wouldn't he care? She let her bright, icy eyes look his way, subconsciously admiring him in a way. How could you not admire a guy in skinny jeans, high tops, a skating shirt and a studded belt? I mean, come on! Perfect style right there! Hearing what he said, Jordyn sighed and looked ahead of her. Okay, maybe she'd try to lose the attitude. What happened, happened. She'd get over it and she'd eventually get over everything else that happened in her recent days. Okay...I'm sorry, really. It's just...ugh... She lifted her head up, taking in the neutral color of the sky, noting how it wasn't blue, but it wasn't gray. It looked like it had been blue, but the clouds melted right into it, making it an unknown color. Perfect neutralism to maybe help calm her down. It just really sucks when you have a terrible day and no one at home gives a fuck, you know? They just let you "figure it out" yourself. As if that helps. She sort of laughed half-heatedly at that, not really finding it funny at all. Her whole family really didn't give a fuck about her, and she kind of needed them. She couldn't take care of her problems herself. She didn't know how! That's why she had the problems in the first place; she didn't know how to make herself think otherwise. Like her anorexia, for instance. If your think your a fatass and no one at home tries to make you think otherwise, are you ever going to heal? Hah! No! Jordyn looked down at her little ipod and started twirling one earphone around in a circle, interested in the weird way that made the music sound. I'm sorry, again. Really. You don't have to listen to my sob story if you don't want to. She lifted her eyes back up to him, hoping she wasn't boring him to death.

The shifting caught his eye and he brought his golden eyes to look into his blue ones and he nodded at her apology. Some days were just bad, other were not so bad, and if you had issues else where school was the last place you'd want to be correct? Matt skimmed his bottom lip with his front teeth before speaking, he had to gather his words and place them properly. "It's fine I understand, you've probably seen better days." Matt replied showing her he accepted her apology. Times like these he wondered why high school was filled with so many type of children, packed onto a small area of judgment. He shook off his thoughts and listened to the girl a bit more clearing his throat. She was spilling to him, and Matt was attentive. Matt was concerned when she brought up her home life, and he looked down between his legs, he himself didn't have it that bad, just a coward of a father that ran away but everyone else tried to care when he wasn't pushing them away. "You know you don't have to do it alone, that's what friends are for and stuff..." Matt said he had a few team members he was close to not to mention his little sister Abbie. But Matt had no right to make assumptions on if she even had friends, she had a cute style choice, but some people would comment and stereotype her as emo or scene and sometimes people tend to stay away from girls like that. But not Matt, he didn't follow the rules of high school nor did he belong to one specific click. Though with his sports ranking they could title him as a 'jock.'
Matt listened to her apologize once more and he moved down a couple stairs so he was now beside her and he chewed the inside of his cheek. "You don't need to be sorry, everyone needs someone to vent too." Matt admitted he himself had this issue he found himself fighting out most of his emotions though. But talk was always better, or at least that's what his psychiatrist taught him. Now it was time to be someone to her, not just someone to vent to so he'd introduce himself. "I'm Matt, and since your day isn't the greatest want to skip? We can go grab something to eat talk more.." Matt offered he didn't quite always care about school, his grades were decent enough to skip every now and again. Matt waited for her to answer and he got to his feet and looked around for a moment stretching then back to the pretty blue eyed girl. "Shall we?" Matt said offering her a hand up.

She felt him looking her way, so she brought her bright blue eyes up to meet his astonishingly gold ones. They'd be so easy to get lost in. To sit on the beach during sunset and just drift away into the beauty of them. Wait....whoa whoa whoa. Why was she thinking that? She didn't really even know this guy. That was a little forward. She shook away those thoughts that had nailed themselves into her mind just from the plain gorgeousness of his eyes, hoping she hadn't shown any physical signs of the conflicting thoughts in her mind. Jordyn brought her attention back to the present, watching him hesitate just slightly before responding. You can say that again... She talked quietly and trailed off, letting her eyes wander into the open spaces of the fields. She hadn't always been like this. Her elementary years were perfectly normal. Her middle school years weren't terrible either. It's just when she got here. Her "kind" wasn't anywhere near normal and of course with this being high school, she wasn't ignored for it. She wasn't starving for attention in the first place, let alone the usually unfriendly attention she did get. I know...I'm told that a lot. The problem is, I try to stay away from getting too connected to people. I'm too used to being let down... Jordyn set her ipod in her lap and fiddled with her fingers. She always used to love her friends and everything, but as they got older, they started to leave her; slowly, one by one. She'd been left with no one, which was really a shame because she could be a really nice girl once you got to know her. You just had to try to see past all the walls she's solidly built.
Jordyn caught movement in the corner of her eye and turned her head to see that he'd moved next to her. She offered a small smile them listened to what he said. Thanks. She paused, smiling again. If you ever want to vent, I'll be here. I'll listen. She had her own problems, but if she listened to someone else's maybe she could escape her own, at least for a little while. Maybe she could actually even help him if he needed it. That would be nice. She'd actually have something to do for once, something important. Hey Matt. I'm Jordyn and yeah, I'd like that... She offered him another small smile, restraining herself from locking eyes with him in fear that she would actually get lost. She really did want to skip today. She would just not be able to handle everyone at school today. She'd probably end up snapping and hurting someone or something like that. Jordyn took his hand, with a small smile, and got off the stairs, now standing next to Matt. She let her hand stay hesitantly there and looked up at him. She was short. She had to look up at everyone. So you were here kind of late. Any particular reason? She really didn't expect a very exciting answer. Probably something like 'I overslept' or something, but you never know.
