Finally, she had been so excited she couldn't sleep all night, today was the day she would return home, return back to Degrassi and she was so ready. Katie said her goodbyes and walked out of the door of the rehab center she had been in for about a month and a couple weeks now into the feeling of freedom. She wouldn't do it, take another pill and be taken away from her life. She was the schools class president she had obligations. Katie got into the car and prepared for the long ride home. She looked out the window thinking mostly, and enjoying the scenery. Katie bit her bottom lip and closed her eyes dozing off. Before she knew it she was home, she walked into the house looking around, everything felt so new, although she knew it wasn't Katie ran up the stairs to her room, walking in looking at her trophies, everything she had even achieved she one her shelves if it wasn't displayed in the living room. She smiled looking at her framed pictures and then she saw the one with Drew. Katie, smiled she wouldn't tell him she was home she'd go to Degrassi and surprise him. Katie walked into the bathroom wetting her hair, and applying moose, it crimped nicely then she put on a little make up. She turned around and went back to her room, grabbing a white cocktail dress and tossing it on. She grabbed her opened toed high heels and slide them on her feet walking back down stairs. She was excited to see her little sister, and Mirasol too but first was Mr. Simpson.
Katie walked to school, her head held high and her heels clicking in the ground in confidence of her new self. When she arrived her walked up the front steps and took a breath opening the door. She walked the linoleum floor looking at the students that seemed surprised to see her back and she greeted everyone with a smile and a nod. Katie made her way to Simpson's office sliding in, and she had a good conversation with him, she heard the lunch bell ring and she departed with her principal rushing to see eveyone. Katie opened the door to the lunch room and she looked at Mirasol and she squeaked running up tugging her Bestie. Katie smiled "I've missed you so much." She said with a grin, when Mirasol said she had to tell her something she caught Drew out of the corner of her eye. he was with Bianca, Katie put her finger up indicating one second to Mirasol, running over hugging Drew from behind before he turned around. Her blue eyes sparkled and before she knew it she was in his arms again. Her waved Hi to Bianca and looked up at her boyfriend. "Miss me Handsome?" She said confident in his answer, she headed footsteps behind her and she was now being pulled away by Mirasol. Katie cocked her head in confusion, what was really going on?
