Into the Woods (Lilli)

[Drew Torres]

Friday, Drew was sitting in his last class of the day awaiting the school bell to ring and set him free for the weekend. He didn't know exactly what he wanted to do quite yet, but after a stressful week, a few deep conversations and some time to think he was just ready to start fresh. RIIINNNGGG Drew stood up and gathered his books, looking back making sure he didn't forget anything. His blues eyes fell upon his favorite pen on the floor and he bent down grabbing it walking out the classroom. All day he had been doing home work for different classes as it came, he wanted a free weekend and he'd have one. Drew watched his feet as he walked the hall to his locker and he heard the sound of heels clicking on the floors and he smiled looking up a bit excited but it faded seeing it was just some girl that went to the school, some nameless girl he didn't care to know. Drew sighed and ruffled his hair walking to his locker, he opened it grabbing his back pack putting a couple notebooks just for studying in, followed by his Ipod and headphones. Drew looked at the pictures on the inside of his locker tracing a couple memories and smiled halfly he exhaled and closed his locker locking it walking the hall that lead him to the main exit.

Drew opened the doors and took a deep breath in, he walked down the stairs looking around at everyone that seemed to be talking about plans for the night. He saw Dave and Adam and he waved to them walking over engaging in light conversation. His eyes fell upon the stairs and he saw a few girls walk out, and then some sports teammate, and then her... Drew looked away, he told Adam and Dave he'd catch them later and he walked away tossing one of his back back straps over his shoulder. Drew walked the grass. not looking back coming close to the woods, and maybe some outdoors would do him some good. Drew entered, smelling the fresh pine, and he smiled at some little chipmunks that scurried on the ground. He didn't go in too deep, before seeing a large rock. He climbed up there letting one of his legs dangle and the other was brought to his chest. Drew looked around at the little hints of wildlife and it soothed him a bit for now.

[Lilli Ricci]

She had met up with Eli earlier today and they had gone through his ideas and she had given him her feedback but he was magnificient without her input. She needed to go home though before she would sneak out and go see him later on tonight so she left the building of the school after the last bell and she decided she'd take the long way home through the woods. She didn't see the point in rushing home when she knew what to expect when she got there, after all when she awoke this morning her cellphone had about 100 missed calls and text messages. She had turned off her phone again this morning and was just now turning it back on as she walked around winding through the trees and she glanced up from her phone surprised to see someone else sitting on the rock ahead. She walked up and examined the boy from the side as she tilted her head,"You ok up there? You look kinda lonesome,"

[/color] she said, she recognized him facially but did not know his name she only recognized him to be a football player, this she knew because the cheerleaders tended to practice outside these days and watch them practice as well. She grinned abit and she shoved her cell back into the pocket of her jean short shorts,"Your umm a football player right?"[/color] she asked she wondered if he'd think she were stupid for not knowing who he was, some football players were like that, at least the ones from her old school were like that, big headed and full of themselves but she never assumed when meeting new people. [/center]

Drew heard the foot steps, and he tried to keep his head straight looking around trying to see where they came from. His heart started to rush a little and when he saw the small female it held back a traumatic moment. Drew exhaled and chewed the inside of his cheek, he noted the girl as Lilli Ricca, Drew knew all the cheer leaders by name, most of the guys talked about them, during practice. Drew thought for a moment, maybe it was time to make a new female friend, it would keep his mind off of the other females he had been involved with lately. "Yeah, I play football umm...Lilli?" Drew said making sure he had her name correct he would look foolish other wise, but when she responded to her name with an expression he knew he was right. that was close he thought to himself with a smirk. Drew reached down extending his hand to pull her up, let her enjoy what he was seeing. "I'm Drew Torres, come up here I was lonely but you can keep me company." Drew said with a smile, his intentions were innocent he didn't need another girl to get involved with his love triangle, maybe a female friend or someone to talk to that he never saw around Katie or Bianca would be good for him. But she was a cheerleader, also a transfer student. She couldn't be that tight with Mirasol, at least he hoped she wasn't. Drew still hand his hand extended to her awaiting her to allow him to help her up.

He knew her name? She blinked a little and then smiled and gave him a nod of approval,"Yup I be Lilli, Ah Drew...your Drew"

[/color] she said as she recalled hearing his name floating around the school but she shrugged abit and when he offered his hand to help her up she took his hand and climbed up on the rock sitting beside him as she kicked her feet back and fourth abit and put her cell back in her pocket and she looked out at the scenery he had been observing,"So you are the one everyone is whispering about huh? That must be hard on you..."[/color] she muttered abit as she twirled a lock of her hair inbetween two fingers and she glanced away from the scene to look at him giving him her genuine adorable smile,"Is that why your way out here by your lonesome? Trying to get away from the rest of the world?"[/color] she asked being abit nosey but she always tended to ask questions,"Not trying to pry just making sure your that Drew, not that I would believe anything someone else said about you anyway I'm not like that, i believe only when it comes from the mouth of the person things are being said about,"[/color] she explained trying to show him she meant no harm.[/center]

Drew smiled when she said his name, and it soon faded. Yes, he was at fault for a lot of things that were happening but only Adam stopped to think, hey Drew hurting too. Drew let his teeth slim his lip til it was red before speaking and he smiled at Lilli, it was a fake, sad excuse for a smile though. "Yeah, I must be the one, you know the cheating, lying poor excuse for a boyfriend Drew Torres that's me." Drew said sarcastically feeling like he was on a game show, he was just waiting to claim a prize. Drew inhaled, he couldn't even go into the wood without some kind of heart break, or rumor following him, he looked at Lilli, his blue eyes faded gray, and now he felt a little numb again. Drew brought his knees to his chest and rested his head on them and looked Lilli over, she was a cheerleader and she wasn't judging him, just confirming. "You know what I hate Lilli, people, people that don't understand what its like to be caught in the middle of two things that make you happy. It doesn't matter either way you turn there's a dead end and more hurt and no one sees it, just sees me hurting them both but someone will understand..." Drew was rambling, and he didn't even know the girl but they were from the same level of popularity due to their sports, even if he was a bit more due to his time spent at the school. "I'm sorry, I just don't want to be asked anymore questions and I'm not hiding in here, I'm coping, escaping." Drew correct looking back to Lilli then to the sky.

She sighed and looked down feeling like she was stepping on peoples toes lately by asking her questions. She looked at him now and she placed a tiny hand on his shoulder,"I'm sorry I have a tendency of trying to ask before just assuming..."

[/color] she muttered and she rubbed his shoulder abit before she pulled her hand away and she looked at the sky,"People are selfish unfortunately, they don't like to see the whole picture on things so sides get chosen and they fight for whatever side their on...without caring who else is involved, people are just cruel,"[/color] she said feeling abit bad for him, it must have been hard to be in his position of trying to please people but failing wherever he looked at least thats what it sounded like. "Escape is always good, do you like it in this spot? I think you picked a nice spot to sit and try and clear your head," she said with a nod and she dropped her hands to her lap fidgetting with them abit,"Drew lets talk about something else huh? Are you doing well in football?"[/color] she asked not really knowing a subject to change it to that would make him happy but she figured football was a good start.[/center]

Drew listened and he smiled a little a real one this time at Lilli's comment she was right. "I wish everyone could see it that way, last year I was the perfect jock with the perfect girlfriend and now, I'm caught up in a life I can't even begin to understand myself let alone explain." Drew explained, Lilli was so tiny compared to him, it made him smile and he brought his hand over beside hers and the big to small comparison made him smile a bit. "Your tiny, you know this?" Drew teased as he took her hand and devoured it with his own. Drew laughed for a second and nodded looking at Lilli, maybe a conversation change was a good idea and it thought for a moment about football and he looked down yet again. "Lilli I haven't been really concentrating, I've singled myself out at practice there a big game next Tuesday and I'm not prepared." Drew admitted football was his world what was he doing? "I'm going to change that next week though, after this weekend I'll be fine." Drew said looking up at the sky as he started to whistle a bit, the reddish orange color shined through the tree branches and he smiled a bit at what was suppose to be the sunset. "So, how everything with you, your a...sophomore?" He said he knew the Niners from working with them partnered with Bianca when she first showed back up, while Vice was still around so he assumed. Drew raised his eyebrow, he got the chills it was sort of cold in this place. "You want to hit the mall, or the arcade or something, I just don't want to go home yet." Drew offered, they could take the bus or walk or he could call up Dave for a ride. How embarrassing, he didn't drive yet and he was a senior that was next to go.

[Lilli Ricci]

She looked down at their hands when he took hers in his and it was so big compared to her hand and she giggled abit at his comment,"I'm fun sized Drew Torres!"

[/color] she corrected and she listened as he explained his lack of motivation in football and she nodded abit,"I'm sure you'll do great Drew and I'll be on the sidelines cheering you on!"[/color] she said with a cute smile and when he asked if she wanted to go somewhere else she nodded,"Sure, the mall sounds fun I haven't been there yet, is it walking distance?"[/color] she asked as she got up and she noticed his hand was still holding hers so she braced herself and tried to yank him to his feet. She chuckled abit when she failed and fell on her ass,"Ooops I may be strong guess not that strong,"[/color] she said as she chuckled and she got to her feet wiping off her ass and she hopped down from the rock and fell in step beside him letting him lead the way to the mall. She watched their feet and she smiled abit,"Is there a movie theater there? Maybe we can catch a movie or something, anything to kill some time right? that or we can play at the arcade I can school you in some Dance Dance Revolution,"[/color] she said chuckling and nudging him playfully.[/center]

Another smile crossed his lips when she said she'd cheer him on, and that was school spirit right there. Drew watched poor Lilli fail at trying to get him up, and he shook his head. "Fun sizes." He said sarcastically rolling his eyes, teasing her now as he got himself up and jumped off the rock. Drew walked out of the woods and pulled out his phone texting Dave and he smiled when Dace responded he didn't leave the school yet, he had a drama club meeting. "No not walking distance but I got us a ride." Drew explained walking back up to the school he gave Dave daps and walked into the parking lot having light conversation introducing Lilli to him. Drew smiled when they got to the car and he opened the back door for Lilli and walked to the passenger side getting in. Dave always had the music bumping and he banged his head a little enjoying the music. He looked in his mirror behind him making sure Lilli was okay and before he knew it they were at the mall. Drew got out opening the door for Lilli, and he thanked Dave and waved goodbye walking to the mall entrance. "So about that DDR, little lady I want to be schooled." Drew said teasing as he walked into the arcade cashing a twenty handing her some quarters walking over to the machine.

She followed him to the parking lot and was introduced to Dave and she chatted with them for abit but when they got in the car she looked out the window and soon enough as the scenery changed and Drew opened her door, she stepped out and smiled at him following him inside,"Yeah you ready to get schooled Drew?"

[/color] she retorted to his comment and when handed the quarters she walked over to the DDR machine and put some quarters in getting onto the machine and she gestured to the spot beside her,"Show me what ya got Drewski,"[/color] she said giving him a nickname and she touched the screen and chose a hip hop song that wasn't really popular but she liked the beat and she positioned herself and when it started she followed each step hitting it right and doing spins here and there and she swayed her body with the beat and kept up not missing a step as she glanced over at Drew,"You doing ok over there?"[/color] she asked as she smiled abit and she rolled her shoulders abit to the rythm and she giggled having fun throwing in a turn and some of her own footwork between the steps on the screen.[/center]
