Detention, what a lovely place to be. Eli couldn't think of a better way to spend his Thursday afternoon then doing homework, and cleaning white boards. He scowled, walking the hall his black and white Converse sneaker being dragged across the floor in the utmost lack of enthusiasm. He couldn't hear anyone at their lockers, he must have been late, a sigh escaped his lips and he picked up his pace. Eli walked into the chemistry lab, getting scolded on the way in for his attendance record. To be honest he could give a shit less, and he had that impulsive, not concerned attitude now. Eli walked over to a desk taking out his notebook and his English text book. He wasn't one for homework, but since the assignment they were working on was a play he'd make an exception. Eli unzipped his messenger bag taking out a pencil and while his hand was in his bag he looked at his cell phone skimming through texts. He smiled at a text, it was from Imogen and it was her saying she was upset he couldn't make it out for burritos, maybe later he'd catch up with her and Fiona. Eli sat up and brought the eraser to his pencil to his lips resting it there, just reading though his assignment list. He wasn't too swamped with homework actually but the reason he was here was quite ridiculous to say the least.
There was this new girl, and she decided to join the drama club, now Eli ran this club and this was fact. He wasn't going to let some new girl come in and take over, telling him that the ideas he had for this years play were unseen, and boring, outdated even. Eli told her off, with a slight hint of sarcasm and she wanted to push him. He did have a bit of a manic episode, and flipped out, disrupting chemistry class and was sent to the Principal's office. His uncle was called and he was forced to take his bipolar medication. But what they didn't know was he cheeked it and spit it out when his meeting was finished. Eli, couldn't stand being controlled like that, he was a free spirit, and he was actually really respectful to women since Juliet. Eli dropped his pencil, he didn't want to think about that, he watched Adam Torres enter the room, and then he knew he could get his mind away from what would drive him into another mood swing. Eli pointed out the seat beside him looking up to the teacher that seemed to leave the room for a moment. "What you in here for Adam?" He asked casually impatient to tell his friend about the drama witch. Eli smirked at his thought and listened to Adam leaning back in his chair, feeling a bit more at ease and he straightened out when the teacher reentered the class, maybe he's have to wait til detention was over to tell Adam all about his day. Eli started to doodle on his notebook, peeking up at the clock. With his mood unsettled it was pointless to try and concentrate on homework. He had too much energy for this whole detention thing at the moment.
