In my free time I: Catrina just moved to Degrassi, actually Canada in general, with her father. No job yet, although she is trying, but when the time comes she will be getting involved with Drama Club.

Personality: Catrina is a pretty down to earth person. She likes vintage things, music, comic books, star wars, and hanging out with people. She doesn't like to judge people although no ones perfect, she just tries her best not to. She is very open minded and outgoing, usually good with being friendly to anyone unless they try their best not to like her. Shes okay with that, she just wont bother then, but she isn't the type to go looking for problems. She is not one to get mad easily and she is also a vegan. She can be loud around the right people and she loves animals and she isn't the most organized person either.
Cat loves being around people so when she loses them, it hurts her. Granted she tries not to let it show, but it really does bother her. She cares a lot about anyone she is close to. She is very passionate about music. She can, also, be a little too independent at times. mostly because of her mother. It can be a problem at times because when something bothers her, she doesn't like to open up. She tends to try and do things on her own, even though now she is away from her mother she still hasn't realized she can lean on someone.
Overall Appearance: Cat stands at 5'1" and weighs around ninety four pounds. she doesn't exercise all too much, but is on a vegan diet and participates in several musicals to stay in shape. her most known feature are her eyes, they're big and a lovely shade of brown. her natural hair color is brown, but found a love for coloring it red about a year ago. Dress wise, she changes it up daily. One day she's in leggings, ugg boots, and a cute shirt from Hollister. The next she's in a Nirvana tee, ripped up skinny jeans, and doc marten combat boots. She'll never give in to some one's trend or stereotype, she bounces around in her own little world.

History: About a week ago, Cat was sent to live with her father since her mother was having some psychological problems. Her mother was a stripper, and amateur porn star, out in California, and had a hefty drug problem. Cat never minded her mother's lifestyle, because it meant she could skip school; throw parties; and have all the casual sex with strangers she could have ever wanted. However, Cat noticed a change in her mom almost two months ago. She started talking to herself, crying a lot, and when Cat would try to comfort her she got either a punch or a slap across the face. After the last big fight with her mother, Cat locked herself in her bedroom and slit both of her wrists. When she noticed the bleeding wasn't calming down she got worried, and called an ambulance for herself. When the police arrived, they noticed her mother and arrested her for drug charges. When they then saw the bruises all over Cat, abuse charges were also filed. Cat had to stay in a crisis center for two weeks, when it was time for her to get out she was greeted by her father.
Cat and her father had an odd relationship, they barely saw each other but emailed frequently. And when they were finally together, it was like he had never left. He took partial blame for not taking her to Canada with him after their divorce when she was eleven but was going to make up for it now. Now, Cat is trying to start over at Degrassi. A place where no one knew who her mother was, a place where no one heard through the grapevine about the suicide attempt or the abuse, a place where she could call home. A real home.[/center]
