Airous walked through the hallways of Degrassi. It was his first day here. He had moved from a different public school to Degrassi due to his inability to "socialize." amongst others. Airous looked around. Everything was a lot bigger than his other school. There where poster for every club and band thinkable. The thing Airous was most worried about was the cliques. Airous wasn't the type of kid who was popular. He usually found himself in a trash can somewhere.
Airous stopped to looked at a poster hanging on the wall. It was advertising for new people to help out with the radio. Airous bit his lip, he would love to join the radio team but he feared talking to others. It just wasn't something he liked to do.
Airous stated at the wall as he started to walk off again. Though he wasn't looking where he was going and ran right into something hard. Airous started up at the person he ran into, having trouble forming words to apologize.

Brandon found himself downtown, he woke up on one of his rooftop spots overlooking the town. Another week of school. Brandon sighed and gathered his sleeping bag, rolling it up and cliping it to his survival pack. Over time, Brandon got used to being homeless, it didn't bother him, just when people at school, would tease him and though very popular he had insecurities. Brandon walked down the stairs of the fire escape yawning. He walked out of the alley to a small restaurant, he'd get washed up in the public rest room. Brandon walked in waving to one of the Italian waiters and he entered the bathroom. Brandon washed up brushing his teeth and spiking his hair a bit messy. He looked through his bag pulling out his black skinny jeans with a purple, gray and black graphic t-shirt. Brandon put on his high topped sneakers, he couldn't help it he was quite stylish and obsessed with his personal appearance. Just because he was a runaway and live on the streets of Toronto didn't mean he had to look like he did. Brandon put on his thick black framed glasses, and tossed his bag over his shoulder walking out and to the counter, he ordered a coffee and paid, then started his journey to Degrassi.
Brandon had been at this school for a year already, he was the head choreographer for the dance club, due to his ability to dance. He always found passion in dancing. He was positioned as the goalie in hockey, so he did have accomplishments at school. Brandon could see it in the distance, Degrassi high school he sighed and braced himself for the day walking up the school stairs and into the hall way. Brandon waved to a few of the cheer leaders, and gave his friends some daps, tossing his finished coffee cup into the trash. He walked a bit quick yet, he had about 20 minutes before his first class. Brandon felt it, an impact and he looked to the boy that walking into him and smiled a bit adjusting his glasses. Brandon offered the boy a hand pulling him to his feet. He could tell he was new, or having trouble talking so he'd make this easy. "It's fine, I'm Brandon." He said introducing himself. Brandon remembered what it was like being new last year, it was always nerve racking. "So, I'm guessing your new and your having that first day of high school anxiety. You'll do just fine." Brandon vowed rubbing the boys shoulder. Brandon was short himself, and this boy was about the same size late growth spurts in life he thought to himself with a smile. "So do you have friends, I'll be your friend, show you the ropes if you'd like." Brandon offer with a friendly smile. Why not he loved new friends.

Airous stared up at the kid he had bumped into with that "deer-in-the-headlights" look. The boy offered his hand to help Airous up. Which he took with a small "thanks....." the boys name was Brandon. He would have to remember that. Airous blinked wondering if the boy was part of the popular crowd or if he was a outsider. Brandon offered to show him around.
Airous's mind started going a million miles per second. What should he say? Airous stared down at his shoes and gripped the straps to his backpack until his knuckles turned white. He looked back at the boy knowing he was waiting for a answer. "s.....sure....." he manger to say.
Pulling out his schedule he read "my....lockers 213." he said looking up at the boy with nervously boiling in his stomach.

Brandon looked to the boy, and he seemed to be in shock as if he never talked to someone like Brandon before. He himself always tried to dress to impress, and hide things from his fellow students but this was no reason for the boy to act this way. Brandon listened to his rocky tone, and the word thanks escaped his lips and Brandon have him a friendly nod. Brandon watched the boy, that now seemed to be nervous tell him his locker number and Brandon figured he'd do this the best way he could. He reached out grabbing the boy's hand, he didn't know the kids name but he was sure he'd find out. "Yeah I'll take you there." Brandon said walking down the hall way, he avoided eyes on him and the young boy and walked right up to the kids locker. Brandon reached out and took the small boys scedual and read the lock code for the lock. He put it in turning it around to each number and opened the kids locker for him, handing back his sheet of paper.
"You know you don't have to be scared around me, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm not intimidating, and if you want I'll go." Brandon tried to reassure the kid talking like that made him feel like he himself was doing something wrong. He traced the linoleum flood with the tip of his sneaker and looked back to the boy. "Can I at least know your name?" Brandon asked, he wouldn't get his hopes up or anything but if the boy chose to speak he did. If not Brandon would leave.

Airous blinked as the kid took him by the hand and lead him to his locker. Airous tried to remember which way they where going. Then Brandon opened his locker for him. Airous heard another thanks float into the air though he was not sure if Brandon could hear it.
Airous froze as the boy spoke. It wasn't the boys fault that Airous was like this. He had moved away from his other school because they couldn't deal with how quite he was. He didn't try to be this way. Brandon was going to leave which wasn't what Airous wanted at all. He enjoyed the time Brandon has been here. "Airous....my name is Airous." he said shyly.
