So, it wasn't as horrible here in Toronto as she thought it was going to be, but it wasn't fantastic either. She liked her host family, but she didn't really feel like she was fitting in around here as well as she wanted to. She figured everybody would be clamering to meet the exchange student from france, but it seemed to be the opposite. She always loved running, it was her one hobby she had that actually helped her clear her mind. So after classes today, and it was a Friday, she decided to go for a run around the track. She hadn't known that public schools had amenities like this as well, but they did. She was rather sheltered, but that happened when you where homeschooled.
So she was fashioned in a pair of teal running shorts and a black tee shirt that was tied back. Her long, dark hair was also tied back, so that it hung losely in a pony tail. Her make up was water proof, and there was a few other people out running the track, so working up a sweat wasn't going to be embarassing. She was subconsciencly wanting to go back home. Not back in her abusive home, but back to France. Where everybody knew her, and respected her, because of her father. But here? That was different. She didn't have to be respected, because that's all she was - the new kid. Sometimes she let her attitude get a bit ahead of her, and that was starting to show.
It was her defensive, nervous attitude that was coming out. Like snapping at the jock - Kade. Had he not intimidated her, she never would have snapped like she did. She would have kept up her cool, calm, and collected demeanor. She wasn't good in tough situations. So right now she was just going to run, and that was a good way to clear her head. She had her ipod strapped on her arm, and her hot pink headphones in her ears. Her favorite band, All Time Low, was blaring in the headphones. She took a moment to stretch, before picking up a paced jog. "Long live the reckless and the brave, I don't think I wanna be saved, my song has not been sung.." She mumbled, pretty sure nobody could hear. Her thick french accent made the words sound different anyways, she wasn't really paying attention to anybody as she continued making her way around the track.
