Although it felt like it was never going to happen, the bell finally rang. School was finally over, and Holly thought this would be the perfect time to try and get a crack at this. She picked her green canvas backpack, with a bunch of random pins she had collected on it, up off the floor and began shoving her books into it from off her desk. When she was done, she threw it over her shoulder and picked up her purple notebook to carry it as she usually did. She had a weird quirk when it came to putting it in her backpack with the rest of her books. She was always just slightly afraid of the edges getting bent. After all, it was filled with songs she had worked so hard to write herself. She considered them her life's work. One good thing came out of her boring geometry class. The teacher forgot to assign homework. Two kids were already out the door by the time she started her attempt on agonizing her students with an assignment so she had just given up. She clearly wasn't going to chase them down the hallway, but boy, would that be amusing.
The halls of Degrassi were so crowded compared to her old school as she made her way to her destination. It was just another thing she had disliked about this school. She'd only been going here for a couple of weeks, but already she had at least fifty little things she'd nit picked onto a list about reasons why this wasn't the school for her. Her parents had told her to make the best out of it, but she didn't see herself being able to handle that.
Just a few turns down the hallway, Holly was at her destination point. The theater. She was told to meet one or the other of two different people here, Eli Goldsworthy or Bradley McCall. Apparently, they sort of ran the drama department. Well, that's what the girl behind her in first period had told her. She had been in the drama club of her last school and felt it necessary to audition for this one. She wondered how strict they'd be though, because her last club had let in slackers of all sorts. It wasn't something she was particularly happy about.
Taking a sigh, she walked through the door. Empty. It didn't really surprise her, considering she did walk here pretty fast. Holly took a seat and began to wait.
