Never too late [Maya]

Campbell stayed up all night on webcam with his friends back home. The boy was actually going to be okay at school the next day due to the fact he wouldn't have such homesick anxiety. Cam forced himself out of bed, he hadn't slept much but the night of joking was all worth while. Cam hopped into the the shower, got freshened up and quickly got dressed. What was on us agenda for the day? Things with the hockey team were started to get overwhelming. Cam understood he was the team all star but something was still wrong when it came to the taunting he endured. At times it made him question if he even wanted to play for the ice hounds. Campbell had a very good idea of what a team should be and ever since they started at Degrassi things went down hill. Rushing out the house and to he found himself walking the halls aimlessly. For some reason he always ended up early but it was alright it would get his head right and give him a good feel on the overall day. Once the student started to enter the building and the halls got crowded he made his way to his locker gathering his first few periods books.

The classes seemed to coast by and by the time it was lunch he starving. Cam walked to his locker ditching his books and grabbing his lunch, he then set foot to the cafeteria. Maybe he'd sit away from his team mates today and sit with Maya. Cam looked around and out the corner of his eye he saw her sitting outside. It was nice out the fall season was always beautiful. Cam walked to the glass door pushing it open he stood beside her looking down with a smile. "This seat taken?" He asked with a smile before looking from side to side seeing no one. He sat down and looked through his lunch bag pulling out a container of grilled chicken salad, he grabbed his fork and took a couple bites before speaking. "So we haven't hung out in a while whats been going on?" Campbell asked trying to make conversation.

[Maya Matlin]

Maya spent last night playing her cello and working on a new song for Whisper Hug. She was having fun and was happy that her sister didn't need any quiet time. She was very happy about being able to play her cello again. After she was done with playing her cello she went to bed so that she could get up in the morning. Which she did at her usual time of five thirty. She got up and took her shower before blowing drying her hair and left it alone. She brushed her hair real fast before getting dressed in jeans and a long sleeved shirt.

Maya got to school with the help of her dad before going off to her locker and getting her first few period books. She was happy with doing that since she loved those classes. After she got those books she closed her locker and put them in her bag. She headed off to her classes and was surprised that day with how fast they seemed to go by that day. When the bell rang for lunch she went to her locker and put away her bag before getting out her lunch from in there. She looked outside and saw how nice it was. She went outside with her lunch and went to sit at one of the benches there was out there. She looked up and saw Cam walking toward her. She smiled at him before taking a bite of her sandwich. She shook her head before saying "Nope its not taken Cam." She smiled at him before taking another bite of her sandwich. She heard him talking again as she nodded her head. Maya said "Nothing much for me really. Just been working on school work and practicing with Whisper Hug. How about you Campbell?" She looked over at him as she was happy that he was talking to her again.
